Vlora FC have remained unbeaten in their nine UPSL league matches thus far this season. The team has managed to lead the division with 7 wins and 2 draws, with the majority of those wins being by narrow margin and only scoring one goal in five of those matches. Last Sunday, however, was not one of those narrow wins. Vlora FC bested Turbo FC 4-0, with a big second half where they scored three goals.
Robert Cooper would open the scoring in the first half by collecting the ball off of a header from a Turbo FC defender and drilling a nice shot past the keeper. The game would break at the half with Vlora up 1-0. Then came the second half where Vlora just created chance after chance and goal and after goal. The second goal would come from Uhunoma Fredrick-Ilekhuoba who slotted home a beautiful cross from defender Danny King. The third goal of the match would come from Leo Anthony who netted home a nice shot pass the keeper in the far post off of a well-timed through pass from midfielder Sam Clark. The final goal would come from Pablo Campos, who showed off his skill by touching it past an outstretched keeper and finishing to make it 4-0 in favor of the visitors. Danny King would pick up his second assist on the game and earn himself man of the match!
