Vlora FC U21
Vlora FC as a club hosted a double header home opener Sunday night for the UPSL Midwest West competition. The Vlora FC U21’s kicked off the evening with a UPSL Division 1 matchup against Shakopee. Vlora would get on the board early from a free kick in the 16th minute. The U21’s would hold to that 1-0 lead to earn their second victory and second shutout of the season.
Vlora FC Women
Vlora’s UPSL Women’s team were not as fortunate. The Women’s side created a few good chances early on that they just couldn’t put away. Tonka Fusion Elite 2 would prove to be more fortunate as they were able to take a 2-0 lead in the first half. TFE 2 would widen that lead to 3-0 in the second half. Despite a valiant effort, Vlora FC Women would fail to get on board and fall to their opponent 0-3 in their home opener.
