Crest History

The club’s original crest was created in 2012, the same year the club was established. The original crest features the original name “Vlora City FC”. The crest also features an image of a man holding a flag that represents the Independent Monument that is located in Vlora, Albania. The Independence Monument is dedicated to the Albanian Declaration of Independence which was proclaimed in 1912 and authored by Albania’s first prime minister, Ismail Qemali.


The club’s second crest was created in 2017. This was the same year that the club’s name was first used to compete in the Minnesota Amateur Soccer League (MASL). The original crest features the original name “Vlora City FC”, but in this second version you can see that the “city” was dropped from the crest. There were other modifications made in regard to the soccer ball in the crest, the font, and Independence Monument.


The club’s third crest was created in 2019. The unveiling of the is version of the crest was a rebrand leading up to the club’s inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). Like the original crest the name “Vlora City FC” was reintroduced. The crest features a new more colorful look with the yellow, red, and black. The crest features the Independent Monument in yellow for the first time.


The latest version of the club’s crest was created in 2020. This rebrand it was decided to drop the “city” from the club’s name. Keeping all other aspects of the crest the same.
