For the first time in the club’s history. Vlora FC will take on an MLS NEXT opponent. On Tuesday, July 25th Vlora FC will take on Minnesota United FC (U19 MLS NEXT) squad in the semifinal of the 2023 Inaugural MN Super Cup. Minnesota United FC were the Group A winners after beating Minneapolis City SC (USL League Two) 1-0 and drawing with Duluth FC (NPSL) 1-1. Vlora FC advance as the runners up in Group B with a 1-0 loss to Med City FC (NPSL) and a 4-4 draw against St. Croix Legends (USL League Two).
The match will take place on Tuesday, July 25th at Macalester College Stadium at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased here: Purchase Tickets. The winner of this match will face the winner of the Duluth FC and Minneapolis City SC in the MN Super Cup final.
